The Concept Behind the Love Mobile
WE ARE UNITED represents not only the present of trance culture, but also holds a strong historical connection. The roots of the project reach deep into the rave and trance movement of the 90s - a time when electronic music stood for awakening, freedom, community, and a new cultural expression. This spirit shapes our concept to this day and forms the emotional core of our Love Mobile.
From this exact understanding, we submitted our Love Mobile for the Street Parade 2026: as a conscious tribute to the history, values, and cultural significance of this movement. WE ARE UNITED sees itself as a platform that carries the energy and attitude of the 90s into the present, while giving today's artists, organizers, and scene-makers a unified voice.
The project is driven by independent organizers, artists, and labels from various regions of Switzerland. These include SPACEPLANET, RECALL, Friends of Trance, Sanctuary of Trance, and MOVE infinity. Together, they represent a scene that has grown over years and today thrives more than ever through collaboration, identity, and passion.
At the same time, we see WE ARE UNITED as a bridge between the past and the future. The history, the people, and the energy of the 90s are an essential part of our identity. That is exactly why in the upcoming blog posts, we will not only introduce the project itself, but also delve deeper into this historical background – exploring the origins of the scene, its values, and the influence this era continues to have on our culture and our vision today.
